Florida Teachers Union Sues State Over Funding

(Tallahassee, FL) -- Florida's largest teachers union is suing the state. The Florida Education Association filed the lawsuit yesterday against the Florida Department of Education. The plaintiffs also include parents, school board members and civil rights groups. They claim the state is violating the Florida constitution by using tax dollars to fund private and charter schools.
