Florida Property Tax Special Session Begins Today

Tallahassee, FL (NewsRadioa 92.3) -- Florida lawmakers are meeting in Tallahassee today for a special session on property tax elimination. Governor DeSantis is pushing to raise the homestead exemption to two-hundred-fifty-thousand dollars and phase out homestead property taxes entirely from there. Whatever lawmakers approve would still need sixty percent of voters to sign off on the November ballot.
