Pensacola FL (NewsRadio 92-3) The legal battle over Florida's new social media law is moving forward. A federal court in Tallahassee is hearing oral arguments today in a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the law that took effect at the start of the new year. It prevents kids under 14 from opening social media accounts. Fourteen- and 15-year-olds can do so with their parents' consent. The Computer and Communications Industry Association and NetChoice filed the suit over HB 3, saying it violates free speech rights.
