FHP Looking for Driver in Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run

FATAL HIT AND RUN PEDESTRIAN CRASH -- David Wayne

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- We're learning more about the fatal pedestrian crash on North Palafox last night. Troopers say the pedestrian was crossing the street near John Gray Road when they were hit by a sedan. The driver says didn't see them. While the pedestrian was down in the roadway they were hit by a second vehicle. That second vehicle left the scene of the crash and FHP is looking for that driver now. The vehicle is believed to be a Dodge Avenger with a Florida tag. If you have any information you should contact FHP. The pedestrian has been identified as a 54-year-old man from Pensacola.
