FHP Cracks Down on Aggressive Driving Over Thanksgiving Weekend

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Florida Highway Patrol stepped up patrols on Interstate 110 over Thanksgiving weekend to catch drunk and reckless drivers. Troopers made eight DUI arrests, five criminal arrests, and three super-speeder arrests. They also issued ten traffic citations for other violations. The enforcement detail targeted drivers speeding and driving aggressively during one of the year's busiest travel periods. FHP says the goal is to keep roads safe for families traveling during the holidays.
