Walton County, FL (Newsradio Pensacola) -- A husband, wife, and their son from DeFuniak Springs have all been sentenced to federal prison time for distributing meth in Walton County.
The family was in court on Monday. 48-year-old Phillip Beck was sentenced to 21 years in prison, 47-year-old Florence Beck was sentenced to 10 years, and their 28-year-old son Joshua Martinez was sentenced to 21 and a half years.
Prosecutors say the couple had five-pound packages of meth mailed from California to addresses in Niceville and Mossy Head back in March -- the packages were intercepted after a K9 officer alerted on them.
In a separate incident, several grams of meth were found when Phillp Beck was pulled over for a traffic stop in DeFuniak Springs last January -- charges for that were also included in his federal sentencing.
The case was investigated by the US Postal Service; Walton County Narcotics Unit; DeFuniak Springs Police; and the DEA.
