As the investigation continues into the death of 33-year-old Hillary Brown in Santa Rosa County, the family of her husband, Dr. Ben Brown is speaking out. NewsRadio received an email yesterday from a representative from Red Banyan that included a statement attributed to the Brown family. According to their website, Red Banyan is a Crisis PR firm based in Fort Lauderdale. The statement says in part "Ben is completely devastated by the sudden loss of his loving wife Hillary, and is desperately trying to understand how to live one day, nevermind a lifetime without her by his side". The statement goes on to say "The procedures Ben performed on the day of Hillary's passing were minor and routine. All safety and medical protocols were strictly followed, and the procedures took place during office hours with the support of Ben's medical staff". Hillary Brown initially went into cardiac arrest on November 21st and was taken off life support last week.
