Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Escambia County taxpayers are being reminded of a fast-approaching deadline to avoid penalties. Tax Collector Scott Lunsford says all unpaid 2025 real estate and tangible personal property taxes must be paid by April 30 to avoid being listed as delinquent. More than 22 million dollars in taxes remain unpaid, representing about four percent of the county’s tax roll. Payments can be made online by midnight, in person by 4:30 p.m., or through drop boxes by the end of the day. Unpaid accounts will be publicly advertised in the Pensacola News Journal later in May, and additional fees will apply to late payments.
