FIRE AT BELLVIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL-UPDATE

Firefighters responded to a fire at a middle school in Escambia County this morning. An Escambia County Public Information Officer says rescue crew members were called to Bellview Middle School located on Mobile Highway around 10:18 am. Crews were on the scene by 10:24 am. Fire officials say the smoke was contained in one room and was caused by an electrical issue. Power was shut off in that area during the incident. Firefighters on the scene told WEAR News, there were no active flames and the incident was nothing major.
