A Spirit Airlines flight flying from Houston to Orlando declared an emergency midflight on Saturday. A Pensacola Airport employee told WEAR News the pilot came over the intercom and notified them that the plane's autopilot wasn't working. The flight was forced to descend and land at Pensacola International Airport. The City of Pensacola confirmed the Airbus A320 made a precautionary landing at the airport carrying 182 passengers. The plane was able to land at the Orlando International Airport about six hours late after being repaired, according to the employee.
