Elderly Navarre Woman Rescued From House Fire

Navarre, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- An elderly Navarre woman is recovering after being pulled unconscious from a smoke-filled house fire Saturday night. Holley-Navarre Fire crews responded to a home on Villa Court where a battalion chief went in without protective gear to reach her. Firefighters gave her a kit to counter smoke and cyanide exposure on scene, which the fire chief credits with saving her life. Seven dogs and a cat died in the fire. She was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital and is now in stable condition.
