Early-Morning House Fire Causes Total Loss in Escambia County

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Emergency crews responded to a house fire in Escambia County early Tuesday morning that officials say resulted in a total loss. The fire broke out around three-ten a.m. at a home on West Sunset Avenue. Officials say the person inside was able to escape safely. No injuries were reported, though one person was evaluated at the scene and declined transport. The State Fire Marshal is now investigating the cause, and the Red Cross is assisting the occupants.
