Santa Rosa Sheriff Offering Free Firearm Safety Class

Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free Citizen’s Firearm Safety Class for residents interested in learning basic handgun safety. The four-hour class includes classroom instruction and time on the range, with a focus on safe and responsible gun ownership. It can also meet the requirements for a Florida concealed weapons permit. Participants must bring their own handgun and ammunition. The next class available for sign-up is March twenty-seventh. Space is limited to twenty people, and registration is required online through the Sheriff’s Office.
