DRIVE BY SHOOTING, HIGH SPEED CHASE

Last night, there was a shooting at Erres Boulevard, near Massachusetts Avenue. Deputies say cameras alerted them to a stolen car in the area and they were already heading that way when shotspotter alerted them to more than 40 shots being fired. Deputies saw the car, and initiated a high-speed pursuit that ended on the Escambia Bay Bridge when deputies used a pit maneuver to crash the suspect vehicle.... that's when three men exited the vehicle and jumped off the bridge. Escambia Sheriff Chip Simmons says one of the suspects missed the water when he jumped and died from his injuries, another suspect was taken into custody, and the third is still at large.
