DEVANN COOK RESIGNING

There will be a change to the leadership of Santa Rosa County. DeVann Cook is stepping down as County Administrator. According to a letter sent to county commissioners, Cook is requesting to work through April 30th and use accrued leave time through May 31st. He did not give a reason for his resignation but says he appreciates those who have supported him over the last 2 and a half years. It's anticipated that Assistant County Administrator Brad Baker will serve as Administrator in the interim.
