The water management district handles critical issues affecting local water supply, conservation, and environmental stewardship across the region including Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Jimmy Patronis, who previously served as Florida's Chief Financial Officer, was elected to Congress in 2022 and now represents the Panhandle district. The reappointment continues the family's involvement in state and local governance.
