DeSantis Presents Governor's Medal Of Freedom To Everglades Champions

(Tallahassee, FL) -- Governor Ron DeSantis is recognizing those who helped preserve the Everglades. He presented four people with the Governor's Medal of Freedom yesterday. Paul Tudor Jones, the Second, Nat Reed, George Barley and Mary Barley each got one of the highest honors in the state. DeSantis says they each played a vital role in protecting and restoring the Everglades and left a lasting legacy. Tudor and George Barley co-founded The Everglades Foundation, and Mary Barley was a founding director. DeSantis credits Reed for helping build bipartisan support for Everglades restoration.
