DEPUTIES ARREST TWO DRIVING STOLEN VEHICLES

Escambia County deputies say they arrested two people driving stolen vehicles on the west side around 6 pm last night. 18-year-old Brayden Howard of Gulf Breeze, and 19-year-old Melvin Rios of Pensacola, are both charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing/eluding police and reckless driving. The vehicles were spotted around Fairfield Drive. One of the stolen vehicles attempted to flee but ended up flipping in the area around Fairfield and South Dakota Street -- near the Lowes store. The other vehicle was found on Westover Street. Both drivers were arrested. Nobody was hurt during the chase or the arrest.
