$5-million dollars in federal grant money will help to reconnect an eastside Pensacola neighborhood that was divided when I-110 was constructed. It's part of the Hollice T. Williams Stormwater Park project. The city says they're hoping to build 1.7 acres of "multi-modal paths," and trails that will connect the neighborhood to North Palafox and 9-acres of community open space. Mayor DC Reeves says the city has a vision of what the Hollice T. Williams Stormwater Park can be, and it's more than a stormwater collection system. He believes it will connect the surrounding neighborhoods.
