Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Penascola residents have another chance to give their input on the Fricker Community Center's renovation this week. A community meeting is being held on Wednesday morning from 8 until 9:30 at the Fricker Center building. The city is planning to invest into the facility after receiving $10-million in grant funding back in 2023. Once renovations are complete it will include a career lab, senior center, healthcare access, increased parking, and an ADA compliant playground. City leaders say community input is vital to the projects success. The improvements are being done as part of the Direction '25 Penascola Parks revitalization project.
