Century lands $499K state grant for industrial park building upgrade

The Town of Century has secured nearly half a million dollars in state funding to renovate an industrial building aimed at spurring local economic development. According to reporting from North Escambia, Governor Ron DeSantis awarded the $499,500 grant through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund. The money will go toward renovating an existing town-owned building at 9082 Industrial Boulevard within the Century Industrial Park. The project is expected to help attract businesses and create jobs in the Santa Rosa County community.
