Century Council Members Join State League of Cities Policy Committees

Two members of the Century Town Council have been tapped to serve on Florida League of Cities policy committees for the coming two years, bringing local input to statewide municipal discussions.

Councilwoman Shelisa McCall Abraham will serve on the Development, Code Compliance, and Redevelopment Committee, while Councilmember Sparkie Harrison has been appointed to the Finance and Taxation Committee. Both will represent the town on the Legislative Policy Committees through 2027.

The appointments reflect Century's engagement with the Florida League of Cities, a statewide organization that advocates for municipal interests during legislative sessions and helps shape policy on issues affecting local governments across the state.
