Century Approves $40K in Holiday Decorations

Century, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- We may be gearing up for Halloween -- but Christmas decorations are right around the corner... And the town of Century has unanimously approved purchasing $40 thousand dollars worth of new decor to spruce up their towns holiday spirit this year. Purchasing the decorations was not on the agenda for this week's town council meeting, but the vote was taken following the public forum. The decor will include new lighted decorations to put on utility poles along North Century Boulevard and other lights and decorations. The money will come from American Rescue Plan funds that otherwise would have rolled over into next year's budget.
