Cantonment to distribute 10,000 pounds of food Tuesday at Carver Park

The Cantonment Improvement Committee is hosting a food giveaway Tuesday afternoon to help residents facing food insecurity in the North Escambia community.

The distribution begins at 3 p.m. at Carver Park, 208 Webb Street in Cantonment. Organizers expect to hand out approximately 10,000 pounds of food to those in need.

Residents attending should line up facing north on Webb Street for the giveaway. The event is open to local community members who need assistance with groceries and food supplies.
