The Pensacola Blue Wahoos recently recognized Brianna Smith for a milestone most fans might overlook—ten years of twirling as the team's beloved "Twirly Girl."

Smith, a 2017 Northview High School graduate, has been a fixture at Blue Wahoos games, performing with fiery batons in a role that's become part of the ballpark experience for many local fans. Before joining the professional team, she made a name for herself as a majorette at Northview, where her baton work caught attention both in the stands and around town.

These days, Smith balances her Blue Wahoos appearances with a full-time career in education. She's in her fourth year teaching at Byrneville Elementary School, where she brings that same energy and skill to her students. The recognition from the Blue Wahoos is a nod to her decade of dedication and the role she's played in the team's game-day tradition.
