Breaking: UWF President Announces Resignation

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- UWF President Dr. Martha Saunders has announced her resignation. She sent out a message this morning saying she's made the decision to conclude her presidency. She says over the past several years many accomplishments have been made at the University, including setting record enrolments, historic fundraising, national recognition, and a campus culture that puts students first. Saunders says she'll work with the Board of Trustees and the campus leadership to ensure a smooth transition.
