Body of missing boater in Gulf Breeze recovered

The body of a missing 50 year old boater who fell overboard on Friday night was recovered. Gulf Breeze Police reported that the recovery was made on Saturday night. A call reporting the incident along the 1200 block of Soundview Trail in Gulf Breeze came in at around 8:20 pm. on Friday. That's the road that runs along the Sound overlooking Pensacola Beach. Santa Rosa County officials say the man fell off a boat in the intracoastal and windy conditions made the search difficult for the several agencies who were searching for him. Santa Rosa County said the man was in his 50s and not wearing a life jacket when fell off the boat.
