BAPTIST HOSPITAL, PENSACOLA LEADERS START TALKS ON OLD CAMPUS

Just days after moving to their new campus, Baptist Hospital officials have started discussions with the city of Pensacola over a donation agreement for the legacy campus on E Street. Mayor D.C. Reeves confirmed the first meeting happened yesterday morning. The demolition cost of the old Baptist Hospital campus is estimated between $15 and $20 million dollars. In order to potentially secure state or federal funding for the demolition, the city has to own the property. They plan to transform the old campus into affordable housing developments.
