Baldwin County Investigators Arrest Man for Allegedly Using Stungun on Baby

MAN ACCUSED OF STEALING FROM GRANDPARENTS AND ABUSING BABY -- David Wayne

Baldwin County, FL (Nerwsradio 92.3) -- Disturbing allegations are being made after a recent arrest in Baldwin County. Investigators there believe a 28-year-old man used a stun gun on an infant. The investigation started after Alec Dvorak was investigated for opening accounts using his grandparents information. He had allegedly gotten credit cards in their names and stolen several thousand dollars. When Dvorak was arrested on January 9th he had an infant in his car -- investigators say when the child was returned to a family member they reported strange marks on their body. They turned out to be burns from a stungun. Deputies eventually found the stungun where it had been discarded by his girlfriend and matched it to the burns on the child. Dvorak now faces a laundry list of charges including torture and abuse of a child, chemical endangerment, tampering with evidence, elderly abuse and exploitation, fraud and identity theft, and drug possession. He's being held on more than $1.5 million-dollars bond in the Baldwin County jail.
