Atmore SWAT Team Makes Four More Arrests in Fatal Shooting

Atmore, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Police in Atmore have now arrested four more people for the double-shooting following an illegal car race on Tuesday. Police say the Atmore PD SWAT team arrested 18-year-old Timothy Sanders, 19-year-old Kcarheem McKenzie, 20-year-old Exavion Bradley, and one juvenile male last night. This is in addition to two arrests made earlier this week, 22-year-olds Javarius Watkins and Tyler Hall. The six men face charges related to the killing of 18-year-old Gabrel Hooks, and attempted murder of a woman who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators said more than 50 shots were fired as winners of the illegal race were collecting their money on Tuesday morning. All suspects remain in the Escambia, Alabama jail.
