Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A suspect is in custody after a man was shot in the butt on Beggs Lane yesterday. The Escambia County sheriff's office says 60-year-old Billy Davis has been charged with aggravated battery in the case. Investigators say an argument between Davis and the victim led to Davis shooting the man in the posterior. The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries. Davis remains in the Escambia County jail without bond.
