Alligator Alcatraz Detainees Sue for Legal Access

ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ DETAINEES SUE FOR LEGAL ACCESS

(Ochopee, FL) -- Those being held in Alligator Alcatraz are suing to get more access to their lawyers. The ACLU filed a class-action suit yesterday against DHS, ICE and the governor. The suit was filed on behalf of four detainees at the immigrant detention center in the Everglades. The plaintiffs claim their constitutional rights are being violated because they're being denied access to legal counsel.
