It's 8 years in prison for a man convicted of a DUI hit-and-run crash that killed a man in August of last year. 40-year-old John Kings was sentenced last week. The crash happened last August 15th on the Bayou Texar bridge. Pensacola Police officers found 41-year-old Travis Hurd dead on the bridge. Police reportedly tracked King down based on parts of his vehicle that had been left at the scene of the crash -- when questioned King had first told officers he wasn't aware of the incident, and then said the man had fallen in front of him, eventually he said he had hit a cardboard box at the same location.
