17-Year-Old Wanted for Attempted Murder on Pensacola Beach

PENSACOLA BEACH, Fl (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Escambia Sheriff's Office is searching for 17-year-old Yandel Manuel Duran, who is wanted for attempted murder after the recent shots fired incident at Pensacola Beach. The shots were reported on September 20th, investigators said it stemmed from an altercation in downtown Pensacola and led to shots being fired from a vehicle in the Quietwater Beach Boardwalk parking lot -- nobody was injured, but multiple vehicles were damaged. Sheriff Chip Simmons announced that Duran faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and firing a weapon in public. Anyone with information about Duran or the incident is urged to contact the Escambia County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers.
