Pace, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The community gathered Monday night to remember 14-year-old Danika Troy at a vigil held exactly one week after she was reported missing. Friends and family described her as bubbly, funny, and full of life. Her mother knew something was wrong when she noticed Danika's electric scooter was gone. Hundreds gathered at Avalon Baptist Church to light candles and pray for justice in her death. Church leaders reminded those in attendance that Danika was more than a news story—she was a daughter, a classmate, and a friend. The vigil ended with a prayer asking for truth and accountability.
