Tallahassee, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Florida's bear hunt is still on this December after a judge ruled against an attempt to block it. A Leon County judge denied an emergency request to stop the limited hunt scheduled for early December, though she didn't dismiss the larger lawsuit challenging whether the hunt follows the state constitution. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says it followed proper scientific guidelines and public input before approving the hunt. Opponents argue the agency relied on outdated data and made a political decision rather than a scientific one. The judge has given both sides until mid-December to submit their positions before deciding on the full case.

The investigation is ongoing, and no other arrests have been announced.

(Tallahassee, FL) -- Details are out on the death of a Brevard County teenager on a cruise ship. Anna Kepner's death certificate was issued yesterday. It shows the 18-year-old was strangled to death, and there were no signs of sexual assault, drugs or alcohol. She was found dead three weeks ago on a cruise ship after it docked at Port Miami. Family members say Kepner's 16-year-old step-brother is a suspect, but no charges have been filed. Anna's grandmother tells ABC News that Anna and her step-brother were two peas in a pod and just like brother and sister.
