Washington, DC -- Florida Senator Rick Scott wants Congress to crack down on scammers. He's backing four new bills targeting fraud — from foreign scam networks to A-I-powered cybercrime. One bill would treat foreign scam operations like terrorist organizations, freezing their assets. Another creates a one-stop website for reporting scams. Scott says criminals are using new technology to target Americans' savings, and he wants lawmakers to act now.

Escambia County, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- Representative Michelle Salzman is teaming up with Feeding the Gulf Coast for a big back-to-school giveaway. It happens August first at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church, starting at seven-thirty in the morning, with cars able to line up as early as six. Organizers plan to hand out fresh food boxes and backpacks stuffed with school supplies, all while supplies last. Families are encouraged to get there early, since demand is expected to be high.

Pensacola FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- The Santa Rosa Island Authority has released the full schedule for this year's Pensacola Beach Air Show, running July seventeenth and eighteenth. It's a bigger show this year, marking the Blue Angels' eightieth anniversary and America's two-hundred-fiftieth. Flight demonstrations start around ten forty-five each morning with Red Bull Air Force, followed by acts like the Pink Jet, a vintage Corsair, F-35s, and wing-walking stunts. Friday brings B-1B Lancer flyovers. Saturday features a Veterans Flight tribute. Both days close with the Blue Angels at two o'clock.
