Woman Charged After Fatal Crash with Bicyclist

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Pensacola woman is charged with DUI manslaughter after a fatal crash with a bicyclist over the weekend. FHP says 42-year-old Hannah Williams was arrested after crashing into a bicyclist on Lillian Highway near Stafford Lane just after midnight on Sunday morning. The rider was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Troopers say she fled the scene after the crash, but left behind a piece of her bumper. That wreckage led Troopers to identify Williams vehicle, she was located at her residence where she had been involved in a second crash with an electrical junction box. Deputies say she was attempting to clean her vehicle when officers arrived at the home. Williams reportedly had a blood alcohol level of .180 -- she's charged with leaving hte scene of a traffic crash involving death, DUI manslaughter, tampering iwth evidence, and child neglect.
