WEST FLORIDA HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER ACCUSED OF SHOOTING WIFE, BROTHER-IN-LAW IN TENNESSEE

An English teacher at West Florida High School is charged with attempted murder in Tennessee. According to Channel 3, 29-year-old Cody Wiggins is accused of shooting his wife and brother-in-law while he and his family were in Franklin, Tennessee for a wedding. It happened at around 9:30 Saturday night at a Marriott hotel, and investigators say Wiggins used a semi-automatic handgun. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are currently not known. Wiggins, who's facing two counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault, is being held on a $3.5 million dollar bond. Escambia Schools Superintendent Keith Leonard says that Wiggins was immediately suspended.
