WEEKLY JOBLESS CLAIMS DROP IN FL

Florida wrapped up the last full week of 2024 with fewer people seeking unemployment benefits. The U.S. Department of Labor reports there were 33-hundred-23 new jobless claims for the week ending December 28th. That's down more than 18-hundred from the previous week. Nationally, jobless claims dropped by nine-thousand for the week, to 211-thousand.
