Veteran Accused of Gutting and Returning Computer Files Lawsuit Against Store

Pace, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Pace military veteran that claims to have been wrongfully charged with theft by a local Walmart store has now filed a lawsuit against the store. 35-year-old Brent Shavnore was charged with theft in October. The store claimed he had returned a gutted computer and stolen the parts -- but those charges were denied by Shavnore. He says he purchased the computer and discovered the gutted PC in the box when he got home. The states attorney dropped the charges citing insufficient evidence in February. Shavnore is represented by attorney Joe Zarzaur.
