022625 (WEAR) VA facilities across the country are required to test enrolled veterans for any toxic exposure. Veterans can be exposed to a number of things during their service. There are roughly 114,000 veterans enrolled in the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System. More than 89,000 of them have been screened for toxic exposure and more than half of those came back positive. Now the next step is to pinpoint where the exposure came from.
