UWF Receives $1.74 Million Grant For Cybersecurity, AI Program

Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- The University of West Florida has landed a one-point-seven-four-million-dollar grant from the National Science Foundation to train students in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. UWF is one of just fourteen universities nationwide chosen for the new CyberAI Scholarship for Service program. The funding will cover scholarships, stipends, and career development for sixteen students, preparing them for careers protecting federal systems and critical infrastructure. Provost Jaromy Kuhl calls the award a major recognition of UWF's growing leadership in the field.
