UWF Cybersecurity Center Earns National Recognition for Fourth Consecutive Year

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The University of West Florida's Center for Cybersecurity and AI has placed third in the national CAE-CD Community Outreach Award Competition for the fourth consecutive year, competing among nearly 500 eligible universities across the country. The center was recognized for programs including free cybersecurity training for veterans and first responders, summer camps for middle and high school students, and faculty development workshops. UWF Center Associate Vice President Dr. Eman El-Sheikh also received an individual award for Outstanding Contributions to the CAE Cyber AI Community and Nation, one of only five faculty members nationwide to receive the honor.
