UWF CENTER FOR CYBERSECURITY AWARDED GRANT

The National Security Agency National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity awarded UWF Center for Cybersecurity with a $750,000 grant to lead the National Cybersecurity Workforce Development Task Force, otherwise known at NCAE-C. This task force is bringing together eight NCAE-C-funded workforce development programs, including Cyberskills2Work, a cybersecurity education program led by UWF. The task force is addressing the nation’s evolving workforce by engaging more NCAE-C designated institutions offering workforce development programs, and developing training pathways for all cyber-related work roles, opening up more opportunities for learners and connections.
