USPS Suspends Mail Delivery, Retail Services Across NW Florida Including Pensacola

The U.S. Postal Service has temporarily halted mail delivery and retail operations across Northern Florida, including all Pensacola ZIP codes, due to Hurricane Isaias. The suspension affects multiple facilities throughout the region, from Pensacola to Panama City and surrounding areas in Escambia, Santa Rosa, and surrounding counties.
According to a USPS Florida 1 District announcement issued today, affected ZIP codes include all five Pensacola service areas (32501, 32502, 32503, 32504, 32506, 32507, 32508), as well as surrounding communities like Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Milton, Cantonment, and Gonzalez. The postal service said there are currently no alternate delivery or retail locations available.
The USPS said it will work to restore operations as quickly as it can safely do so. The service disruption impacts mail delivery, package handling, and retail counter services across the affected zones. Residents and businesses can check usps.com/news or the USPS Service Alerts page for updated information on when service will resume.
