Update: Victim Identified in Fatal Gulf Breeze Avenue Shooting

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The woman that was shot and killed Sunday morning by a Pensacola man has been identified as 39-year-old Alanda Cuffee. Deputies say the dispute that led to the shooting was over whether 64-year-old James Pelzer said excuse me while passing through the kitchen. Pelzer allegedly grabbed a revolver from his room and fired 4 to 5 shots at Cuffee, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Pelzer's wife, Cuffee's mother, witnessed the shooting and told deputies her husband had a history of threatening to use his gun. Pelzer is charged with second-degree murder and held without bond.
