Uber Driver Held at Gunpoint in Escambia County Robbery

Escambia County, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- An Uber pickup turned into an armed robbery Monday afternoon in Escambia County. Deputies say thirty-two-year-old Quaye'Shjuan McKinney got into a driver's car near Lillian Highway and 52nd Avenue and held the driver at gunpoint. Shots were fired but only struck the vehicle. McKinney is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, burglary, and property damage. He is being held without bond.
