Two Women Charged After Two Toddlers Found With Serious Injuries in Escambia County

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Two women are behind bars after two toddlers were found with serious injuries in Escambia County. 33-year-old Dynisha Blunt and 35-year-old Etantania Williams, are both charged with felony child neglect with great bodily harm and held without bond. Deputies say Blunt brought a 3-year-old boy in her foster care to West Florida Hospital with life-threatening head and facial injuries consistent with severe abuse before fleeing with the child before he could be treated. When authorities located Blunt and the boy they also found a 1-year-old with injuries. Deputies saythe two women were living together with seven children total. All seven children have been taken by DCF. Additional charges are expected.
