Two Weeks from Five Flags 'Snowball Derby'

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- One of Pensacola's most anticipated racing traditions is just two weeks away. The 58th annual Snowball Derby roars into Five Flags Speedway December 4th through 7th, bringing thousands of fans to witness one of the biggest short-track events in America. Thirty-six racers will compete, including two-time champion Kyle Busch, gunning for his third title. The main event Sunday at one o'clock features a 300-lap battle on the half-mile oval. Track officials are expecting 10 to 12,000 people trackside. Reserved tickets are sold out, but general admission is still available on race days.
